Our 5th graders (11 years of age) had a storytelling lesson with cubes, led by their Croatian teacher and the school librarian. The activities were carried out in the form of group work. They had the following tasks:
- Each student in a group rolls 3 cubes, makes up a short story and tells it to other group members. The other members listen to the story carefully.
- Creating a common story. One group member rolls all the cubes. All group members make up a story based on the pictures. The story is written on a sheet of paper.
- Storytelling in front of the class. The groups take turns to present their stories in front of the class, with each group member telling their part of the story.
