Our 5th graders (11 years of age) had a storytelling lesson with cubes, led by their Croatian teacher and the school librarian. The activities were carried out in the form of group work. They had the following tasks:

1. Each student in a group rolls 3 cubes, makes up a short story and tells it to other group members. The other members listen to the story carefully.
2. Creating a common story. One group member rolls all the cubes. All group members make up a story based on the pictures. The story is written on a sheet of paper.
3. Storytelling in front of the class. The groups take turns to present their stories in front of the class, with each group member telling their part of the story.
