On 17th of May our project „ANEN“ was presented on International integrated conference – practice "The use of internet and new technologies for education for higher thinking skills" in Priekulė (Klaipėda county)

LT: Environmental Education Day
On April 18th, environmental education activities took place at the progymnasium. Docent Dr. Rita Nekrosiene and Senior Ecologist of the Seaside Regional Park Erlandas Paplauskis taught the students about “Preservation of the Earth in our hands”, “Ecological Problems in the Regional Park”.
6-8th grade students participating in the Erasmus+ KA2 Interschool Strategic partnership project “Active in Nature, Enjoying the Nature” taught 4th grade pupils on topic “Nature Teaches Us”.
The third national exhibition/mini training of educational institutions “Project Fair 2018. 100 messages to You, Lithuania” was held at Klaipeda Gedminai progymnasium on 2nd March. The aim of this event was to enable to exchange valuable experience of project activities, to present the benefits of projects to the community, to disseminate the contribution of project managers and participants to the improvement of education quality through the funds. The fair was attended by teams of preschool, general education and non-formal education institutions. Altogether they presented more than 80 projects of various levels. The innovation of the fair was a center of Education Exchanges Support Foundation. All interested persons could consult on the preparation, implementation and other relevant issues of the projects that were administrated by this fund. Our institution presented the ongoing “Erasmus+” program’s project „Active in nature, enjoying the nature!“, an eTwinning project “ANEN”
“Project Fair 2018” was a great way to know more not only about different project activities and opportunities, but as well as to get fresh ideas for future activities. We are thankful to active, creative students and teachers of the country, who shared, presented, surprised and proved once again, that Lithuania is being created by a great community of education.

IES LEONARDO DA VINCI (ALICANTE)

Last friday, 30 june of 2017, we had a meeting in order to explain the rest of the school what we had done this school year, related European Programes: ERASMUS +. In fact, we spoke about the activities that we did in France (in october) and Lithuania (in may). afterwards, we showed the videos that we made with our students.
The assesment has been very possitive!
On April 12 the 2nd republican exhibition of projects of educational institutions "Project Fair" was held at Klaipeda Gedminai Progymnasium, where teams of pre-schools, institutions of general education and non-formal education, Lithuanian Maritime Academy, community of Klaipėda University took part in it. There were even 83 projects presented: from a school to an international level. The project teams, the guests - the Education Exchanges Support Foundation, the representatives of the Education Department of the Klaipėda City Municipality Administration, the representatives of the Klaipėda City Educational and Cultural Center - and the visitors of the fair shared their best experience working on projects, presented their created projects, gained some interesting ideas and found partners for the new projects. Participants and visitors of the "Project fair" were able not only to get acquainted with the presented projects, but also to vote for the most favoured one.
According to the decision of the participants of the event, our Erasmus+ project "ACTIVE in NATURE, ENJOYING THE NATURE!" earned the nomination "For Environmental Education"
Participants and visitors of the event participated in creative workshops, lectures and seminars: they got acquainted with Europass documents, opportunities that are provided by Erasmus+, eTwinning, Nordplus programmes, also with steps of project preparation and implementation, IT tools for projects, the MozaBook program for interactive teaching and learning, learned to study creatively in with iPads in an iClass. Students improvised at the forum theater, met the enthusiast of the flying drones, tested woodworking machines, a virtualized (vCloudPoint) computer classroom, a 3D constructor and iMO-LEARN smart cubes.
LT: Team work – project’s success
On 23 November teachers Saul Rudelis, Gediminas Jonauskas Kristina Rudelienė, Asta Jankauskienė conducted a seminar “Team work – project’s success”. The teachers shared the project work experience: they presented the projects and successful stories of teamwork to their coleagues from other schools of the city. They aslo presented the tools for the project execution and for assessment of the impact. Our project “ACTIVE IN NATURE – ENJOYING THE NATURE!” – ANEN was also presented in this seminar.
LT: The Impact of Project Activity on School Community
On May 10, a project team from Klaipeda Gedminai progymnasium organized an international teachers’ conference “The Impact of Project Activity on School Community”. Its aim was to gather Lithuanian and foreign teachers to discuss the impact of project activities on the school community and to share the gained methodical, practical experience from various projects. Different subject teachers from Greece, Romania, Croatia, Turkey and Lithuania attended this conference. Our project “ACTIVE IN NATURE – ENJOYING THE NATURE!”- “ANEN was also presented in this conference.
LT: The republic conference “Teaching and learning differently”
The republic arts teachers’ methodological – practical conference “Teaching and learning differently” was held on March 23 in Gedminai progymnasium. Plenty of participants were listening to presentations on a contribution of art subjects to a personal learner’s development, discussed the trend of artistic subjects, perspective, possibilities of education of artistic creativity during the project activities and also education opportunities of children with special needs.
Attending the workshop teachers shared their own methodical and practical experience, presented own ways of organizing lessons and methods which help to motivate students, develop their creativity.
LT: PROJECT FAIR
Klaipeda region’s educational institutions “Project Fair” was held in Gedminai progymnasium on 4th February. The fair was really fruitful – there were 55 projects presented from Klaipeda, Klaipeda district, Silute district and Plunge educational institutions. Students, teachers and various education related individuals from 30 institutions creatively presented school, national, international (Erasmus+, Lifelong Learning, eTwinning, Nordplus, the EU Structural Funds) project activities enriching school life and the whole process of education. Participant innovatively showed their designed products, demonstrated how they are continuing their project activities which have already ended. All the participants shared joyful mood, got new ideas, teachers and students discussed the success of the project, the impact on the institution community, funds, programs and partner search as well as project application and the whole project implementation. Honored guests of the event from The department of Education and Culture of the municipality of Klaipeda City, Klaipeda Teachers` Center for Culture and Education and Klaipeda Pedagogical Psychological Service were delighted by excellent presentations.
Probably the best assessment of the event was participants‘ impressions, experiences recorded on the evaluation wall and the questions „Will we be able to participate again next year?“
The prizes for the “Project Fair” attendees were established by Education Exchanges Support Foundation, JSC „Eurobiuras“ and PI “Edukateka”.
