LEARNING ENGLISH CAN BE EXTREMELY FUN!

Our first mobility with the students took place from the 2nd of May to the 6th of May of 2016, as the starting point of the Program Erasmus +, ANEN: “Active in Natur e, Enjoying the Nature”. Sixteen students and teachers from Spain,together with eighting students and seven teachers from Norway, France and Lithuania.
Our goals to achieve were: In the first place, that all the students meet each other face to face and begin to interact and develop their communicative skills; as second goal, their participation in several outdoor activities, such as beach volley, kayak and paddle surf, mixed in international teams; and finally, working in the app about Tabarca Island which is the Natural Reserve that the Project is based on, looking for information about its History and taking wáter pictures. Furthermore, improving the student´s creativity through different workshops.
The meeting was very successful. We began with the traditional “Welcome day” at the school, IES Leonardo da Vinci in Alicante. We enjoyed seeing the spectacular “batukada”, played by the group: “La ciudad de los colores” and we learnt a lot of things about eTwinning.

On Tuesday, we went to Muchavista Beach in order to learn to do Paddle surf and Kayak, with the colaboration of ALOHA SPORT school. At the end of the day, we had a volley ball competition and a traditional “Chocolate con churros” snack in the Chocolatería Valor , in the village called El Campello.

On wednesday and thuersday, we were in Tabarca Island. We could do snorkel, even though the weather consitions were not good enough, get information about its History and improve our creativity with the decorating stones workshop.

The last day, we had a very warm and sweet farewell at the school with a typical Spanish lunch. Thank you very much to all the participants!
