With a series of activities, we marked Earth Day.
We collected plastic stoppers every day and thus made sure that the environment of our school remained tidy and clean. We also virtually hung out with the Zagreb ZOO. The educator taught us about the occupations of the people at the zoo. We learned what animal caretakers, nutritionists, biologists and veterinarians do at the zoo. We watched the film I Understand Animals and the presentation Who’s Hungry. We answered the questions asked and finally played a knowledge quiz.
We wrote eco messages for the preservation of our planet, which we exhibited in the school atrium.

SDG 15: Life on land
4th grade students from Mravince marked the Earth Day through a lot of activities. One of the activities was making a poster related to this day. Children are aware how important it is to live in a healthy and clean environment. They wrote on posters what they can do to protect our planet.
In the mother tongue class, we covered the reading book "Eko Eko" related to the celebration of this day. In the art class, we ilustrated a literary work.
The students enjoyed in all of activities.
In addition, they once again realized how important for all of us to be responsible and environmentally aware inhabitants of the Earth!
