Impact and Evaluation - Teachers

  • Description of the Impact of this project within Distance Teaching

    Mariastella Parisi

With schools closed Google classroom popped up, Zoom calls started but there was something missing. As teachers we had to figure out how we would effectively engage students in learning despite distance. This project was the key, a project based learning with, hopefully, a long lasting impact on all participants

It was such a fascinating and foreshadowing experience, a true masterpiece for those whom believe in the strong educational value of international relations.
Special thanks to Stella and Laura: their professionalism and enthusiasm are an huge footprint and guidance for the students and they also make the sight of me and many others old school teacher more wide.

This project made our students aware that working, learning, creating cooperatively is fun. It led them to focus on the dangers affecting our planet. The coronavirus will pass but the lasting impact this project will have on them will be something they appreciate forever

    Laura Silva Maria

This project has had a major impact on me as it was the first time I developed an eTwinning project with students who knew nothing about it, explaining at the distance. It would have been much easier having students in a classroom with computers through which I would guide them.
It had a big impact on my students because they were not used to having content taught this way.
Both my students and I learned a lot about new digital tools and it was a big challenge for all of us whenever things didn’t work well. Students and I were constantly in contact by email, chat, whatsapp and together we managed to overcome difficulties.
This collaboration has deepened our critical thinking, problem solving and cooperative skills a lot and has led to the achievement of project objectives.
