    STEP IN AND SHAPE YOUR FUTURE

     

    TIME

    The project will take place from April to June, time during which schools are closed and teachers and students are in social isolation due to Covid-19 crisis.

     

    DESCRIPTION

    Climate Change has been a major problem all over the world with a severe impact on societies and the environment. Every year, millions of people as well as animal and plants die because of pollution. We have to open our eyes and raise awareness to this global problem. Young people have to get involved and, through this project, students will not only study about a big variety of environmental problems, but also step in to shape their own future on Planet Earth.

     

    AIMS

    This project has the following aims:

    -to raise awareness of environmental problems and build an environmental consciousness;

    -to develop social, communicative and English skills by debating ideas in online meetings;

    -to develop critical thinking and multiperspectivity by being able to provide solutions;

    -to foster students’creative skills pretending they are visitors from outer space, viewing life on Earth for the first time and writing a story;

    -to be able to work and cooperate in national and international teams being alone in social isolation;

    -to deepen their ICT skills and be able to find solutions on how to work cooperatively being alone in social isolation;

    -to become active citizens and make their voices being heard.

     

    RESULTS

    Tangible results of this project will be:

    -Films about different environmental problems (eg. Moviemaker);

    -Kahoot Quiz about topics presented in the films;

    -Infosheets “How can we step in and shape our future?”

    -Storybook for children;

    -Public Twinspace where all  products and activities and resources will be available.

    Intangible results of this project will be:

    -Deepening of students’ skills regarding, creativity, communication, collaboration, multiperspectivity, critical thinking and also foreign language and ICT skills;

    -Fostering the use of eTwinning in participating schools.
