4.- Group Organisation

  • Instructions

    • Go to the FORUMS (clicking on this link) to find partners for your international groups.
    • There are four THREADS, one for each international thread. Groups 1 and 2 must include students from Bilbao, Leszno and Barcelona. Groups 3 and 4 will not include students from Barcelona, but they may include students from Turkey or Portugal.
    • Students must engage in conversation in the threads until they create their international group. They should also find a name for their group, related to the Earth Day, for example
      • a word connected with the care for our Planet
      • a word connected with something essential for the Planet
      • challenges around our Planet
      • ...etc

    HOW TO MAKE THE GROUPS:

    1) Each school makes their groups 1,2 and eventually 3,4. These groups prepare a presentation of their schools and cities to the others. This can be made in many different ways (see draft page 3.1 for ideas).

    2) In the FORUMS, we create the THREADS (or I could ask my students to create them) (Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, Group 4) and they must get together

    3) Once the groups are created they must choose a name.Could it be a word related to saving our planet? (For example: Recycle - or Zero Pollution - or Biodiversity ...)

    4) DEADLINE for creating the groups and deciding their names: Monday, April 27

    5) This is just a proposal, and as that, it is only visible for Teachers. Feel free to change anything you want.
