7.1 Assessment Results

  • STUDENTS' ASSESSMENT ANALYSIS

    1) About half of the students answered the survey, more or less in the same proportion from each High school.

    2) Nearly all students found the project interesting, which was good news for everybody!

    3) Nearly all students were new eTwinners. But the results did not coincide: there was only one student from IES Botikazar who had made an eTwinning project elsewhere, and she also liked this new experience.

    4) According to students, the most important aspects of the project are communicating with students from another country , and learning about another culture.

    5) About IMPROVEMENT: 60% of students feel improvement in their knowledge and attitude towards nature, and 50% of them felt their English improved after this project. Improvement in ICT is not so clear for them, but only 25% of the students think they didn't improve in ICT.

     

    6) Ranking of Activities:Students liked better working the videoconference, working together, presenting their schools and cities, the Hour of the planet and analysing profiles.

     

    7) About students' work. 70% students think that they work well and only 10% of them recognize that they would have worked better

     

    8) Strongest points. Most students feel satisfied with the opportunity to communicate and work with students from different countries and schools, to use their English, the team work and the possibility to present their schools and cities. They say they liked the topic because it is worth protecting the planet

     

    9) Things to improve Some students would have liked to be more active, and regular in their work. Furthermore, they would have liked more videoconferences and group work and more time as well.

     

    10) Ready to repeat a project? 95% students answered "yes" because they found it interesting, they had a good time, learnt about other cultures and practised their English.
