3.1 SCHOOL VIDEOS

  • Let's record videos!

After your research and the completion of the shared docs, now it is time to create videos to show the reality in your schools as for sustainable development. You have to follow these steps:

    1.  Each national team is going to record a video about how environmentaly friendly your school is. You will show the sustainable development initiatives taken at your school, the weak points as for environmental issues and your suggestions to improve your school environmental policies. The video should last 3-8 minutes long. Try to make it clear and appealing for your twins!

    2.  Upload the video onto one of the following: YouTube, Vimeo or Daily Motion. Do it in the "unlisted mode" to keep your privacy.

    3.  Add your videos to the following Padlet. Upload your videos in the corresponding column, according to your international team. Do not forget to add in the title the following information: country, school name, national group name. If your want to make it full screen, you can have access to it by clicking HERE.

    4.  After watching the videos, twins will add suggestions to improve the school environmental policies of their team mates. This is an important step. Your suggestions will help your twins make their schools more environmentaly friendly. National groups will write those tips under the videos of their team mates. For example, "Ocean and Coral Reef" members will add their suggestions under the videos of their partners located in the same column. How to do it? It is quite simple. At the bottom of each post you will find the words "Add comment", you can write your tips here. Start your words with your national group name preceded by "@" and the initials of your country (i.e. @SP.Ecocaps for the group "Ecocaps" from Spain) so that your twins can know who has written those sentences.

    5.  Update your work process through the corresponding threads in the discussion entitled "Ecotwins at school" at the forum section. You can get into that discussion by clicking HERE.

    6.  Deadline. The whole activity about the videos should be over by Friday 21st February.
