City of Glasgow College gave teams of students the opportunity to present on their product ideas. The winning teams continued to the next stage of the project pilot where a panel scored their pitches according to 6 criteria:
• Quality of research
• Identification of market segment
• Response to brief
• Originality of product
• Use of materials
• Ease of production

After the preliminary phase, the students continued their work and tested their ideas with the help of laser cut models from different materials – corrugated cardboard, foam, plexiglass and wood.
