  • Hello,

Yesterday we had our "monthly" Zoom meeting with Irene, Janja and myself. We obviously talked about the situation of our schools and regions. It is, currently, very difficult but it seems that an improvement is coming in Belgium. On the other hand, in Croatia, children have not returned to school. The government leaves the choice to those in charge of the schools and the school of Janja after the decision to give the lessons by digital.

During our conversation, we highlighted several points:
    1. / We will now work on the presentation of the schools, until January 31st. At that time, we will share our completed work. We can then watch them with our classes and prepare questions in English if necessary. We will then send the questions to the partners so that the students can calmly prepare the answers in English for the end of February. This presentation will be made both in the form of a slide show and the insertion of videos for explanations.
    2. / As part of the Christmas party, we will be sending some Christmas cards (homemade) by post in the coming weeks. Each child in a class (more or less 20-25 children) makes a card and we will distribute them among the 4 envelopes.
    3. / We hope to be able to set up a transnational meeting in May if the situation allows it. We will reorganize the schedule during the first quarter of 2021 if possible.
    4. / All avatars are now available on eTwinning. Only a few comments are missing.
    5. / For the next meeting in December and so that everyone can be present, if it suits Elisabeth, we will do it on a Monday. Otherwise, we'll do it on a Saturday or Sunday.
I wish you an excellent day and see you soon.

    Thierry
