3D PRINTER IN SCHOOL IN USTKA

  • Have fun with a 3D printer!

    POLAND- SP1 USTKA

One day, new equipment appeared in our computer lab. The yellow-red device that resembles a cuboid is a 3D printer. The equipment was purchased by the school as part of the Erasmus + project "Coding is fun". During an extraordinary computer class lesson,  students from the second grade were the first to see how this tool works and what its possibilities are. The imagination of our pupils and the way of thinking led to the correct analysis of the 3D printing method. Students had the opportunity to talk about their experiences with modern technologies and how to use them in everyday life. During the lesson, we printed a giraffe, a frog and a rabbit. The most involved students received souvenir printouts 😊 Soon we will present the possibilities of the 3D printer at an online meeting with partner schools from the "Coding is Fun!" project. We want to share our experiences and encourage to similar classes in schools in Belgium, Spain, Turkey and Portugal.
