    Workshop: Art meets Technology

KONS (Creative Platform for Modern Research Art) prepared two workshops for students: One workshop focused on students piecing together an Arduino board and making a simple piano player with buttons. The other workshop focused on students drawing an insect with a 3D printing pen and adding a vibrating module so that the insect was shaking and moving.

Healthy activity without technology: Cycling around Murska Sobota

    Workshop: DJ & Music Production

Alphawave Music Academy prepared two workshops for students: music production and DJ-ing. For music production students were guided through the process of recording sounds with common household objects; tweaking, cutting, sampling them; and at the end compose a short song. In the DJ-ing workshop they mixed two songs and tried to make the best transition from the first song to the second song.

Workshop: Visit the Centre of Experiments

Students visited the Centre of Experiments in Maribor where they attended a workshop with programming toy cars. In the second part they saw and experimented with various technological wonders.

Workshop: Arduino workshop - Sensored gates

Students attended a workshop at school where they assembled 3D printed gates, added a stepper motor and an ultrasonic distance sensor. They programmed the gates so that they opened when they sensed an object in proximity of the sensor. The gates closed after a few seconds.
