Greetings from Estonia!

We are 3.d class from Tallinn Downtown Private School. There are 26 of us: 12 boys and 14 girls. We like Pippi Longstocking and sometimes we feel that Astrid Lindgren is as an Estonian writer. But we are happy, because of Marie-Ilon Wikland, who is an Estonian-born Swedish artist and illustrator. She has illustrated the greatest number of Lindgren´s books. Wikland was born in Tartu, Estonia and raised in Haapsalu, Lääne County on Estonia´s Baltic coast.

• We had a Pippi Longstocking Day on the 2nd of Nov. :)
• All pupils were dressed as a character from the book.
• All activities were related to Pippi: we had a quiz, narrations, songs and movies.
• We ate a lot of candies, what Pippi was brought us.
• We made the Christmas cards last year and this year we wrote best wishes.
