Safer Internet Day, use of image and Copyright

  • Throughout the project, partners focused on the need for a safe use of technology. We debated the advantages and disadvantages of Internet use (and abuse!), its dangers and some safety measures. Students also reflected on how they can help educate the next generation - their younger siblings, cousins, friends. He also talked about Ciber Bullying and chatted about their experiences.

Some bookmarks were made on Safer Internet Day. They had lots of Internet Safety tips, and were offered to the School Library for everybody to read.

Safer Internet Day (SID) is celebrated each year, on the second day of the second week of the second month. Millions of people unite to inspire positive changes online, to raise awareness of online safety issues, and to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology, especially among children and young people.

The students' authorizations for the use of image in the project are in a folder in the schools (all of them are eTwinning Schools and have the Safety Label).

Students used mostly pictures taken by them and were careful with the research work they did, for example for the Online Magazine.
