More Events During Corona : Europe Day & World Oceans Day

  • Europe Day

On May 9th we celebrated Europe Day from home! During this week, students watched a video about what led to the creation of the European Union, and another one that showed different opinions about the advantages and disadvantages of being a member - hopefully, it made them think and form a more well-informed opinion. They also had a Kahoot Challenge which they loved! The video sheet and the Kahoot were shared with with the partners, so everybody could participate! 😁💗🇪🇺

These were the videos on the sheet:

And here you can find a selection of answers to the open question at the end of the Video Worksheet:

    World Oceans Day

To mark World Oceans Day, we decided to invite not only all our students, but everybody who wanted to join, in yet another Kahoot Challenge! We find that during Corona times, Kahoot Challenges are really welcome by our students and help them feel like they are not alone - they can play with their project partners and, in this case, with people from all over Europe (or beyond) who join us! That's a great feeling!! The invitation was shared on eTwinning Live and on Facebook, and the results were published on Tuesday afternoon! :)
