Teachers' Project Assessment

  • Thank you!

    from Belgium

We are nearing the end of the project and I'd like to thank all the people who have made this project possible. I think of my partners and friends : Marisa, Rosaria and Nilgün but also of my Physical Education colleagues who have discovered eTwinning this school year and have been active in the project : Alexandre and Christophe. (You can see their pictures on the padlet with the masks).

Alexandre is eager to be part of another project next year and organise a sports day for real this time.

Thanks to my principal who lets me organise all these projects.

    Dear All,

It is nearly the final days of our project.

It has been amazing to know you.

We aim to help our students to realise the importance of sports to create a strong cross-cultural and inter group relations among the partners. The project is established to help our students to become Future European Citizens with the qualities such as tolerance, diversity, respect and equality which are the basics of sports, too.

We are proud of our students that they have actively determined to join the activities during the school year from the very beginning.

Although the outbreak of COVID19 surprised us in the first weeks we were able to make connections amoung our partners soon and dealt with the programme as we had planned.

    from Turkey part 2

Our students eagerly continue and work so hard to finish their tasks on project. They valued the importance of staying at home, but keeping on team work, communicating and colloaborating.

They improved their English and they also had opportunity to learn and use new digital webtools.

    Thanks to our project partners.

    Thank you Marisa.

    Thank you Sabine,

    Thank you Rosaria.

Thank you to all the students who participated and made the project precious.

    .WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!
When last September I was asked whether I wanted to take part to an Etwinning project, my answer was "yes”.
Well, I actually didn't know what to expect from it, being my first experience.
Now that the finishing line is so close, I can surely affirm I was completely unprepared for the amount of work and involvement it implied!
Nevertheless I have been really lucky being supported by 3 wonderful colleagues.
My students and I have learnt about new apps, new digital tools and we have developed new skills and abilities.
It has been a challenging project, combining sport and English. Students have learnt about other cultures and about historical sports events around Europe.
I want to thank my students, my headmistress, my Italian colleague Lucia Colore(who proposed me this project) but, above all...
    MUITO OBRIGADA, MARISA
    ÇOK TEŞEKKÜR EDERIM, NILGUN
    MERCI BEAUCOUP, SABINE.

    from Alexandre, PE teacher, Belgium

As a minor part of this great project, I'd like to thank all the partners for their investment. This year, I felt the opportunity to create new contents between english and sport classes.
In the beginning I didn't know where it would drive us. But thanks to my colleague Sabine, I gradually saw many possibilities. Now I'm even writing to you in english, which was not intended in the first place :-)
Next year I hope to make all the suspended plans come true !

    comment from Marisa :
It might have not been intended, but you wrote in perfect English! ;) Yes, let's hope we can work together again next year! I'd like that! :)

    From Portugal, part 1 :)

My dear partners and friends! It's been a hectic year, but we made it! Our plan was full of great collaborative activities and I'm so proud that we managed to do practically everything we had in mind! That's only been possible, because we're a great team - the teachers and the students. We started really early with the presentations of our schools and of our teams. In Portugal we had great pleasure in associating with the Fridays for Future initiative and using the video that we made to show you our school. When we celebrated European School Sport Day, we introduce our 2 Vocational classes - 10th and 12 Sports graders. All on the same week! Then came the Logo competition and straight after that, we started working on our collaborative eTwinning Olympics Advent Calendar, one of my favourite products!

    From Portugal, part 2 :)

Lots more followed, because we weren't deterred by the terrible changes brought about by Corona! Distance Learning didn't have to be a pain for us, because we had lots of activities to do and great digital tools to use, like Kahoot, google docs, Zoom, padlet and MadMagz, the tool we used to create our project gem - the "Faster, Higher, Stronger" collaborative magazine. Our work is not over yet! Combining English and Sport is something that we want to continue. So, my dear partners, let's get together and plan our next project!! ;)
