For LTT2 in Lleida (Spain) participants focused their studying on climatisation and building construction inspired by green plants.

To develop LTT2, it took place the following activities in Lleida:

• Welcoming to the participants with a cultural events and activities promoting Europan culture and identity. 
• Presentation of each organitzation to the school comunity.
• Natural workshop: Inspire biomimesis improvings in bulding construction through the plants adaptations study in Mediterranean climate.  They observed in international groups the anatomic characteristics using microcospes and deduce their physiological functions and structural addaptations of plants. 
• Discover diferents STEAM projects presented by school students analysing their ideas, technologic process and solutions. 
• Analysing biomimesis in the architecture of Gaudi buildings as a source of inspiration in their future projects during a trip to Barcelona.  
• Energetic workshop: Visit Almia Project located in Almatret with the collaboration of Research group in Energy and Artificial Intelligence of Lleida University. During the workshop participants discovered aspects related to the climatisation, construction and energy ol buildings providing solutions that respecte the environment and guarantee the confort of the buildings. As the same time analyse Almatret that is energetic self suficient village using renewable energy. Solar pannels and wind turbines were a good examples of biomimesis inspiration.
• Architectonical workshop: After the visit of Llotja Architectonic congress building, participants should design look for solutions to isolate it using biomimesis principals designing them and the building with a 3D printer in international groups. 
• Technological project: participants developed a technological process, thinking, designing, programming a STEAM solution and measuring with microbit sensors in international groups with the collaboration of different Torre Vicens school students. 

The participation in the LTT allowed to to increase the attractiveness of learning science, mathematics and technology through the research of plants and its applications in building construction following the pathway to biomimetic inventions. 

During Lleida LTT, it was used STEAM methodology where the participants: 

• Discover about biomimcry and its application in climatisation, construction and energy in the building construction.
• Promote an exchange of realities, culture and language around Europe creating an European identity and community. 
• Comunicate in foreign language, specially English and discovering local ones, Catalan and Spanish. 
• Fosters critical thinking and creativity to understand and interpret a scientific, mathematics and technological world.
• Empower the participants to be able to identify and solve real and challenging problems using biomimesis to construct model buildings and other STEAM projects in international work teams using knowledge, skills and competences through an active research.
• Learn to make a research using microcontrollers (design, install, programm and take data) and a 3D printer (design and print) using a technological process and obtain solutions in real problems. 
• Analyse biologicaly and physically nature and builduings in Mediterranian climate.  
• Promote renewable energies and a correct use of energy in daily life. 
• Collaborate and transfer knowledges, skills and competences between the participant organizations and other entities from the field of education such as local comunity, Councils, Educational Department and University.
