5th Primary School of Korydallos (Greece)

  • Korydallos is a town of around 65.000 inhabitants. It is located just 5 klms away from Piraeus and 10 klms from Athens. Korydallos in Greek is the name of the bird lark, which is also featured in the school logo.

     

     

    The 5th Primary School of Korydallos is a public primary school. It hosts 280 students, aged 6-12, and 25 teachers. Every year, over the past 15, health education, sports, environmental, art and cultural programs are being implemented to promote physical and mental health, environmental awareness and the development and cultivation of individual and social skills. The school has been awarded with the "eTwinning School Label", as well as National and European eTwinning Quality Labels for its projects. During the years 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 the school participates as a partner in the Erasmus+ KA229 project "Learning from the past to face the future: cultural heritage in contrast with modern society".
