STUDENTS' RESULTS:
Our students say that the words that they link with our project were:
- Interesting
- Fun
- Team work
- Communication
The best activities: games, introductions with VOKI and videoconferences.
They didn't find difficult to work with their partners. Sometimes they found that the activities were a bit difficult. Perhaps it was because of the COVID circunstances that made everything more difficult.
They affirm that the project helped them to improve their English, work in groups and respect others ideas.
After this experience the 93% of students would take part in another eTwinning project.
For next year's project they would like the project to be about animals, the space, scientists, sport, cars.
So taking into account these ideas we'll prepare next year's project.
TEACHER'S RESULTS:
The most important aspect of the project was that even if we had the school closure we could achieved all the objectives, that we could integrate the project in the curriculum, using it as a way to teach English and that we had a good time doing it.
It's not the frst time we work together so we are improving in our relationship and in our way of working. This year's situation made us to work even closer and the relationship was fantastic. We had a very close communication and work together in all the activities, sharing the work.
After this good work the idea is to keep on working together.
IMPACT OF THE PROJECT IN THE SCHOOL
The first impact the project had on the school was the fact that we were used to doing videoconferences because of our eTwinning projects. So, when schools closed one Friday of March, the following Monday we were doing videoconferences to teach the lessons (apart from the many videoconferences we did with our partnes). Following our example the other school teachers started doing them with their students. We were an example for the school.
Families were also very happy as they could see students practicing English both with their mates and partners. They could see from first hand the work we are doing and even if we coud not show our work in the schools walls we did it through the school sites.
The news of our eTwinning projects has reached the Town Hall and the Maire was very interested in what we are doing. We also appeared in the newspaper twice: in a national newspaper and in the town newspaper.
