Philipp: Great times to focus on ourselves

    Hey everyone,
I hope you all had fine Easter holidays! It's been a long time in this state of emergency. I guess everyone dealt with it differently, but I for myself noticed really advantageous stuff, which could be interesting for you as well.

The fact that I've been isolated for this long now changed some things for me: I think we were all more or less forced to think more about ourselves than usual, which isn't a bad thing at all from my perspective. In my opinion it is important for us all to think about the meaning life has for each of us, to really get a good sight on our state of mind, physical health or the things we want to accomplish.
Besides that, it is also the perfect time for practicing personal skills or learning contents we are interested in. Don’t you think?

    Have a nice day!

    Elena

    Hey there!
In Austria, we are under the same lockdown as you are, and it got prolonged. We are not allowed to go out, exept for shopping groceries, to help other people or in an emergency.
We have a lot of online schooling. In average, we have about two "meetings" a day and a lot of homework. Personally, I'm never bored, just because we have to do so much for school. .

If I have free time, I like to go in the garden and help my mum and grandma to look after the plants. The weather is nice, it's finally getting warmer!
I'm so greatful for the invention of videocalls, imagine not being able to hear and see your friends for such a long time! I'd go crazy. (Ok I'm going crazy anyways.)
I wish you all the very best, stay save, wash your hands and look after yourself!

Hi, I hope you're doing well and are still healthy!
We're in isolation about a month now. At the beginning it was very hard for me, but you learn to get used to it i guess (at least I did :)). I think you just realise that the main cause you stay at home isn't yourself, but the other people who may get very sick or even die (especially older people)! Of course, I'd rather do something with my friends or family, but if we all obey the rules, it will get better soon. And in our fast world it's also good to just slow down a bit and take care of yourself, for example do things you didn't do for a long time. I wish you all the best and don't forget to wash your hands :). Have a nice day

    Anna-Katharina, Tina and Nayomi - Part 1

    Hi people in Réunion,
Today me and my friends talked a little about Covid19 and quarantine and came to a few interesting conclusions.
We have to stay at home too and while talking about that we realized that there are people who suffer even more then we do. For example, people with depression or who life in a house where they suffer from domestic violence or other things, from which they can’t escape anymore…
We also talked about school a lot, because we have to go to online school. It’s really different from our normal school routine and forces us to get a lot more self-reliant a lot faster… its really difficult in subjects which we don’t like…

Anna-Katharina, Tina and Nayomi -Part 2

But it can also be an opportunity to learn how to study independently.
Our last topic was about politics, or rather if it is okay to put apps on your phone which show if you are infected and where you are. It could help to prevent the spreading of the disease, but is also a huge violation of our privacy…so it’s rather an ethical debate than anything else.
    Stay healthy!!
    Greetings from

    Hello!
We are doing great. What about you, we hope you are alright.
Here in Austria we are already home for 6 weeks and we are not allowed to meet our friends and family who are not living with us. Sometimes it is very hard, because after this long time, we don't know what to do with all this free time. It is sad because we can't meet our friends, especially because the weather has been really good the last weeks. Another challenge is e-learning. Sometimes it is hard to organize ourselves and hand in the exercises on time. Talking to the camera is not the same as talking to somebody face to face.
We hope that it gets better soon.
    Have a nice day,
    Leonora and Lisa

    Hey there!
It is not easy for us to be at home all the time, but you have more time for the family and for yourself. In addition, we have had very nice weather in the past few days and this makes the whole situation a bit more bearable. At least we can go out with our dog or go cycling. There are days when it is very boring, but most of the time we are very busy with homework. We hope you get through the time well and that it will soon be over.
    Have a nice day!

    Thomas

    Hello there!
I am happy everyone’s up. I have already noticed we all have similar concerns and problems during this state of emergency. :/

In Austria, the situation has calm down a little bit.
Since the first of May we are officially allowed to meet our friends. A few restaurants and some stores are now opened under particular rules, like in restaurants the tables have to be arranged with distance.

Our school will open at the end of May, but our class group will get split – that’s kind of sad.:( Until that we have to keep our nerves in front of our computers. (after the Cor.- Time I will definitely have enough from my laptop for a while)

At least I hope you all get some positive things out of this special time, even if it’s discovering old but gold recipes for food. :)
Wish you the best - Thomas
