Greece

  • Our school is situated in Glyfada, a suburb south of Athens. It is one of the most beautiful suburbs that extends from the Saronic Gulf to the foothills of Hemmetos Mountain. It is the largest of Athens' southern suburbs, with almost 90.000 inhabitants

Formal education in Greece is divided into Primary, Secondary and Tetriary education. Secondary education covers Junior and Senior High Schools. We are the 4th Junior High School of Glyfada. Our school hosts students aged from 11 to 15 years old and there are three different levels: A, B and C. The students participating in this project go to the B class.

Our school building was built in 1985. It is a two story building with 15 classrooms, six of which are equipped with interactive whiteboards. There is a Physics/Chemistry Lab, an ICT classroom, a DIY classroom, a small library and a big multipurpose hall. Also, there is an open basketball court.

There is a big balcony in each floor of the building, offering a magnificent view to the sea and the mountain.

Our school yard extends to 3.500.000 m2, and there are plants all around the place.

We have made this virtual tour of our school, using 360 images and Thinglink.
