The fifth Erasmus TV INTERNATIONAL Mobility took place in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, with ETAP Escola Profissional as host and organiser of the event.
As participants and partners of this project, the schools Institut Vallbona d’Anoia – Spain, Aziz Sancar Anadolu Lisesi – Turkey, Liceel Tehnologic “Petru Poni” Onești – Romania, Zespół Szkół im. Ignacego Łukasiewicza – Poland and Scuola Secondaria di I gr. “G.Mazzini” – Italy.
With this mobility, the participants had the opportunity to get to know the cultural heritage of Viana do Castelo, historical landmarks, gastronomy, folklore, music, traditional dances and costumes through a performance by Grupo Folclórico da Lavradeiras da Meadela. In short, to get to know our culture of which we are so proud.
They visited the historical centre of the city, the Citânia de Santa Luzia and the Church, the Forte de Santiago da Barra, North Beach and all the corners that the city has to show.
Active Citizenship, an important value and approached through environmental issues, which were a theme of the workshop held at CMIA in Viana do Castelo and during the visit and explanation of this natural park. Students in groups presented the NGOs in their communities and their importance.
They participated in a workshop and brainstorming on gender equality, promoted by the PLANOI Association.
Of course, as a professional school we provided all participants with a workshop with the theme “How to transform my smartphone into a professional camera” with the participation of an awarded director, Flávio Cruz, who shared with all present techniques and tricks, there was space to practice in a space where creativity has no limits, the North Beach and all its splendour.
Of course we presented something else that represents Portugal and our culture, the participants had the opportunity to visit the city of Porto, the riverside area, the cellars and our port wine. They visited the Discoveries Museum and learnt about our history.
Because we are from Minho, we like to welcome and are proud of who we are, we are sure that it was a very exciting and rewarding week for all participants.
