    Thank you for your cooperation to the trello app that was used for organizing our monthly activities. As we decided our monthly tasks will be:

     

    SEPTEMBER TASKS

    • Setting up profiles on Twinspace.
    • Presentation who is who
    • Presentations of regions and schools.

    Teachers and students present theirselves, Then there's an online video conference to know each other better. We give the results of the "who is who"--> Each student will read her/his description and the other team will say her/his name

    Presentation of school, country, and region. Each country and region could be presented from a partner  and then in a chat could be completed the missed info from each region's students.

    OCTOBER-NOVEMBER TASKS

    • Logo competition

    All students (or students in teams) design a logo and then they could vote (via tricider)  for the best one.

    • Food products and food categories

    Students in mixed international teams collect info for each category- based to their source (animal-plants), based to their belonging team (cereals, fruits, vegetables, etc) and based to their processing (pasteurization, sterilization, drying, condensation, etc).

    Then they create a list of their  PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) and PGI(Protected Geographical Indication)  products. These info are transferred by the students in an interactive map of local food products.

    Final product:  the interactive map and an e-book where will be transferred all the info

     

    DECEMBER TASKS

    • Christmas menu

    Subpage: Austrian Christmas Menus, Serbian Christmas Menus and Greek Christmas Menus

    All students (in national teams) create a three-course Christmas menu. they cook the dishes and present in a video. Then their peers could cook the same menu with local products. We could also have a discussion about the cooking methods used, tasting and sensor training. +Food analysis and Chemistry elements, Calculation of calories and suggestion of a more healthy version of each dish if needed.

    • Cards exchange

    Students in national teams create Postcards with the goals of healthy nutrition and send them to their peers wishing a healthy Christmas

    • Wishes

    Students and teachers exchange wishes for the New Year

    Final product:   presentation of the cards' exchange,  common Christmas and New Year's menu padlet, wishes' dotstorming.

     

    JANUARY TASKS

    • Healthy Nutrition

    All students (or students in teams) search and collect info for a nutrient -their sources, their importance for the human organism, what happens if there's lack or over-consumption of a nutrient

    • Digestive system

    All students (in national and international mixed teams) discover the human body organs  by using Augmented Reality in Anatomy and collect info especially for the digestive system. Students create or search for digestion's simulations.

    Final product:   A serie of presentations and simulations, a collaborative mind map diagram, a collaborative game, a collaborative e-magazine where will be transferred all the info on nutrients.

    FEBRUARY-MARCH TASKS

    • Dietary behavior and Health

    All students (or students in teams) search for healthy nutrition (Pyramid). They create their pyramids and discuss their food choices.

    Students in mixed teams search for the impact of their food choices on their health and on the environment we live in.

    Final product:   A book with collaborative stories.

     

    APRILTASKS

    There were a little changes due to COVID 19 but we feel that our activities and objectives have been successfully achieved....
