Netiquette is short for "Internet etiquette." Just like etiquette is a code of polite behavior in society, netiquette is a code of good behavior on the Internet.  

There are issues relating to working on the internet in a safe way. Every citizen in today’s world is also a citizen of the digital world and needs to understand what the rights and responsibilities of being a digital citizen are.
