Mountains occupy about 22% of the entire Earth surface. They provide important resources: drinking water, food and energy. The population of the mountain areas has a tradition and culture which are important for life improvement and improvement of the local economy. In this project, pupils will learn about the mountain they live next to, and how to preserve it for future generations. The purpose of this project is to influence the pupils' awareness of the importance that mountains have for living.
