The school is located in the historic center of Santiago de Compostela, near the Alameda. The building is from the mid-20th century and forms part, both structurally and architecturally, of the joint history of the city.
The school has always been linked to vocational professions: it was a school of work, a school of the arts, a school of industrial expertise and a school of professional training and, more recently, it began to teach secondary education in an adult program.
Currently the school teaches secondary education and courses on computer-based informatics training through an in-person curriculum, in the afternoon and through distance learning.
The school is spread over three floors and one basement; it has six computer rooms, five rooms for ESA and BAC (for adults), one multi-purpose room (for video, conferences, etc.), one laboratory, one library and other facilities dedicated to administration and services.
The school has always been publicly owned and therefore depends on the Department of Education and the University of the Government of Galicia.
