WORDS AND LANGUAGES TO PROMOTE AND LEARN !
READING, ILLUSTRATING AND WRITING: FROM MORAL STORIES TO A THEME STORY!
PROJECT OBJECTIVES: From words to rewriting to new story writing. From mother tongue to English writing; from local team to European team.
- use the EDL celebration to show the students the diversity of languages and scripts in Europe.
- promote the importance of all the languages, of intercomprehension and of multilingualism.
- reading and writing in mother tongue to read and write better in English; learn the importance of words, grammar and ideas.

- preserve our European Heritage; have our students know our European fairy tales or folktales; use them to develop creativity.
- rewrite yesterday's tales with a moral and write today's ethic tale about a burning current issue.
- teach related-heritage conservationnal skills including digital skills.
- Write and read for different purposes: poems, play our cards and rules, letters received from friends, interact, read to vote... but mostly about stories to enchant friends, stories the students have updated themselves or together!
- illustrate to learn about visual communication.
- WRITING, ILLUSTRATING and READING allow us to become responsible European citizens and marvellous future parents.
- Entice pupils to read more starting with gamification to remember them the pleasure to share good moments while reading. Those moments shared with parents can also be shared with their teachers and classmates to build up a pleasant working atmosphere.
- Reading as a paramount human activity.
INNOVATION:
- MENTORING OBJECTIVE to the teacher partners: be able to write an Erasmus KA229 project according to the different competences needed.
- PEER TEACHING: learn about project improvement and specific tools
- tasks dedicated to teachers only
- shared leadership: some activities are led by a partner who is not the founder of the project, the usual leader.
- several final tasks for different teachers and pupils! ( different levels)
- exchange of good practices
- several steps for dissemination (beginning, after a valuable and finished task and at the end of the project)
- ETHIC / THEME project: a project dedicated to different ethic causes: update our culture modernizing it, allow disabled children to listen to our audio books, explain about past morals, work on today's new challenges, (stray animals, creating useful things, saving paper), digital European citizenship, solidarity during Covid time.
- ATTRACT NEW ETWINNERS: sharing our final product in an explained, attractive and responsive way so that non eTwinner can test what we can do in European teams with all the communication and interaction benefits.

This project is designed to have the students work on the key competences and basic skills.
