The parents were introduced to the project through a letter from the teacher:

As part of the project, we invited the local animal welfare society to talk to the students of our school about animals, adoption, volunteering and respect for nature. We thought it would be a good chance for the whole school to participate in this event, not just for the students participating in the project:

After the animal welfare society visited our school, the E1 class students from another class in our school made some drawings about animals and how we should treat them. They put these drawings on their class bulletin board:

In addition, the D1 class students collected dog food and donated it to the Animal shelter. Here is the leaflet that the animal welfare society distributed to all the students and their certificate for participating in the ΦΟΚ event:

Furthermore, at the end of the school year the project was disseminated at school so that the students of the other classes could be motivated to participate in etwinning themselves apart from being informed about our work:
