DIARY JOURNAL: MOTA DEL CUERVO 2016

  • Friday, 29th April: Italians students had come to IES Julian Zarco, so first of all was to visit them for the same facilities. Then we went to introduce our company and online business plan in the auditorium where other classmates and the center's director were. After the presentation, we went to eat, all together, a rich paella that we had prepared at the institute.
After lunch we went to visit Mota, the first thing we visited were the famous windmills where they were taught how they worked and some of our colleagues performed the famous scene of Don Quixote in the mills. And to finish the afternoon we went to the Tercia where our companions returned to play another scene of Don Quixote when he is knighted.
At night, he had prepared a surprise party for Aldo, Italian student, who turned 18, which guests attended many of us and in which we had a great time.

Saturday, 30th April: Our destination: Ruidera. The first stop was the cave of Montesinos, place with lots of history inside of our great character "Don Quixote". Within it we saw stalactites and stalagmites, bats, different forms taken both rocks and clay and limestone after carbonation. After playing a bit of hiking touring one of the routes that made Don Quixote. We went to eat at the gaps and there we could watch and enjoy some of the beautiful landscapes that nature provides us.

To finish the route we visit El Toboso, Dulcinea village. There, taking advantage of the fourth centenary of Don Quixote, we could enjoy a representation of the novel by Cervantes (made by Italian students), walk the streets of the village and see the medieval market, which enjoyed the Italians people.

Sunday, 1st May: We went to Alicante. The trip was very entertaining because it served more to know each other and make strong our friendship. After 3 hours bus trip we stayed in our respective hotels. Finally, to top off the day we visited the boardwalk and took a walk along the beach.

Tuesday, 3rd May: We started the day with an explanation of the importance of architecture in advertising and how it affects this. After about half an hour of exposure of contents, we get together in groups of four people (Italian and Spanish) to record an advertisement. We had until 17:00 pm to finish our spot. At that time we show all our partners, we explain how we did it and we gave and received criticism about our videos.
