DAILY JOURNAL: MOTA DEL CUERVO 2015

  • After our week on Italian soil where we enjoyed a wonderful experience, plus excellent host, we turn came to us being the hosts of our new Italian friends.
    In addition to performing multiple cultural activities during this week the second part of the project carried out along this first course was presented.

    ay 5th: we started picking this intense week our colleagues in Madrid, where he took the opportunity to visit one of the traditional markets of the capital San Miguel market, from there we went to Villamayor de Santiago to know the functioning of a cooperative cheese and before installing them in Mota del Cuervo we made one last stop in Belmonte, where besides visiting its iconic castle and collegiate church could take a guided tour through the town.

    Saturday 6th June: in the city of Mota del Cuervo, the mayor along with the institute's headmaster, gave the official welcome our guests, wishing that your stay with us would live up to their expectations. We take that day to visit the most important sites of the people, Tertia, the Museum of pottery and especially windmills, finishing this enjoyable day of brotherhood with a "rancho" in the Chapel of Manjavacas.
                                                     

    Sunday 7th June: we visited Toledo and we dive into the city where three cultures lived together over several centuries. Our Italian friends had the opportunity to see the capital adorned for the feast of Corpus.
        

    Monday 8th June: it was the turn of Cuenca, where we visited the business center and had the opportunity to meet some of the companies located there. Afterwards, we visited around Cuenca, more specifically: the enchanted city, the birth of the Cuervo River Lagoon Fingernail and the viewpoint of the window of the devil.

    Tuesday 9th June: the last day of this strategic partnership between Italian and Spanish, was dedicated on the one hand to visit the Cooperative Our Lady of Manjavacas and on the other side to visit the IES Julian Zarco. Our guests spent a school day in our school, in which they shared with Spanish students different activities throughout that morning. At the end of it, all students participating in the Erasmus + (Italian and Spanish) project presented the conclusions of the work done throughout the year, presented diplomas to all participants of this educational experience was performed and finally the director of the conference center closed for this school year.
     
    Only hope that next year the experience as rewarding as this year.
