ETWINNING NATIONAL AWARD 2021

We are celebrating! It has been a great pleasure to find ourselves on the list of the eTwinning 2021 National Awards thanks to the project developed in our school during the 19/20 school year "The Power of Democracy at Schools". This award is a recognition of the work of our 6th grade students and their families, our partners and colleagues teachers Manuel José Vázquez Feria, Elçin Ceyhan, Serap Sonal, Fatma Demir Kul, Necla Alp Yiğit and Minka Mincheva; and the support of our management team Luisa Dávila Ladero, Evita Moriji and Ester León Carrascal. Thank you very much to all of you!

WEDNESDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER: PROMOTIONAL VIDEO

On Wednesday 29th September the doors of our school and library were opened to our 2nd ESO students. It was very exciting and emotional to see them again to celebrate our National eTwinning Award for the project "The Power of Democracy at Schools". We made a promotional video of the project which we will soon publish on our website and social media. eTwinning once again fulfils its aim of bringing schools and pupils closer together. We are very happy and grateful.

THURSDAY 4TH NOVEMBER: AWARDS CEREMONY

On Thursday 4 November, the Secretary of State for Education, Alejandro Tiana, presented the National eTwinning 2021 Awards to 34 teachers responsible for 12 projects, including our project "The Power of Democracy at Schools" carried out in collaboration with the other winning teacher, Manuel José Vázquez Feria from CEIP Santa María Coronada in Villafranca de los Barros.

The awards ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of Education of Extremadura, Francisco Javier Amaya Flores, and the Technical Teaching Advisor for European Projects, Isabel Mª Carballo Muñoz.
