SCHOOL EVENT "LIBRIAMOCI: A book makes you fly..."

The event "LIBRIAMOCI" will take place in Italy from the 26th to the 31st October 2015.

Teachers will try to teach pupils that reading is a jump towards freedom.

    A book makes you fly

     high up to the sky.

     It's a bright sensation

    rising up with imagination!

Paper pages turn into a flower:

what a magic, what a power!

    Tender colourful butterflies

     and a rainbow: how nice!

A book can make your mind free:

a better world you suddenly see.

     Sadness, happiness, surprise:

how many feelings from your heart rise!

And when your creativity becomes very strong,

while reading,... you sing a song!

    Teacher Betta :-)

OUR GLOG: the butterflies in our poster have inspired a happy ending for Romeo & Juliet

    A GREAT ENGLISH STORYTELLER!

Beatrix Potter (London, 1866 - Sawrey, 1943) was a writer, illustrator and English naturalist, best remembered for his books for children. His works celebrate life and nature in the English countryside, through the story of the adventures of anthropomorphized animals as the famous Peter Rabbit .

The passion for nature, animals, and painting (including watercolor) were the main theme of the life of Potter since childhood, and they are reflected in his literary works.

His books were highly successful, and the corresponding revenue, joined inheritance received from an aunt, allowed her to buy the land of Hill Top Farm in Near Sawrey, and then several adjacent farms.

Beatrix  was engaged in the protection of the natural environment of her land.

These soils are part of today's protected natural area of the Lake District National Park.

    THANK YOU TO MISS POTTER,

YOU ARE STILL ONE OF THE BEST STORYTELLERS
