  • Famous people - school activites

    Here you can see the results of local activities of each school. 

    Pupils of each school could do 2 activities:

    1/About a writer, his/her life and books, novels, ...

    Pupils of each school chose 1 writer, talked about him / her and then read a book - story. They talked about the story, wrote short summary amd made some illustrations to it.

    The result is e- book:  We are reading stories.

     

    2/  About painter, his/ her life and artworks.

    Pupils chose 1 painter, talked about him/ her, tried to know his/her artworks. They tried to paint some of them using various ways od painting. 

    The result of this activity can be video or photo-gallery.

     

    Slovakian activity - Painter Martin Benka

    Students of 4th class were talking about the painter Martin Benka. 

    They watched the presentation and hthen tried to paint hs artworks using various methods.

    We were reading in Slovakian language, wrote the summary in English and draw some illustrations. The result is in our common e-book.

    Turkey activity 

    A Painter, a painting

    Our 4th grade students studied the famous painter Şevket Ahmet Pasha's painting "Pomegranates and quinces". We also learned about the painter.
    He observed the geometric arrangement of fruits and the harmony of colors.
    We tried to draw and paint this harmony.

     

     Reading a Story

    We read the "three advice" story from the Mesnevi book of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi.First, we gathered information about the famous writer Mevlana. Then we learned lessons from this story we read.
