C5.2-What are going to do?

  • During this fourth mobility in Dinan with students, we will offer activities aimed at discovering the multidimensional Emerald Coast, with a strong support of cultural heritage but also with the discovery of the phenomenon of the tides.

    - We will begin with sessions to present the work on the territory, the city and the school. - a workshop on geology, geomorphology, oceanography, climatology, biodiversity, which makes it possible to evoke the coast in the face of the consequences of global warming thanks to the creation of "storymaps" from the collection of data in the field and on the Internet associated with geolocation in a Map.

    - A visit to the Ebihens archipelago at low tide as well as a visit to the bay of Mont Saint Michel will be the ideal scenarios to be able to analyze and empirically verify the workshops carried out previously.

    - In the cultural heritage section we will focus on gastronomy, with the presentation of an emblematic recipe of the region. We will also address the oral tradition with popular songs related to the sea.

-The visit of Saint Malo, commented by a guide, will allow you to understand the local traditions, the architecture and the history of the city. As well as the permanent link of the population with the sea.

All activities will be planned in workshops where students will work in international teams. In each team there will be a spokesperson chosen by the members of the team.
