If you have any particular dietary requirements and did not include them when you registered online, please email Debbie Candy.
NB. If you have dietary requirements (vegetarian, nut allergy, gluten-free etc.), please make yourself known to the waiting staff who will have a specific dinner for you if you have advised us of this requirement in advance.
For those arriving later than 1915, a hot meal will still be available, but please ensure that you make your way to the restaurant as soon as possible. Please notify the reception staff that you are part of the eTwinning party when you arrive and they will let you know the arrangements for your dinner.

Accommodation
Accommodation is at the conference venue. All bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. You may also make local and national phone calls free of charge, but international calls are barred from all telephones within the venue.
There is a small gym available to participants for the duration of the conference.
All rooms are non-smoking.
There is an internet hub with four computers for delegates to use on the first floor of the centre. If you choose to access the internet via your own laptop, there is free WiFi availability throughout the centre. However, the number of devices trying to access the WiFi at the same time can reach in excess of 80 and inevitably the speed can be affected. The venue uses WiFi hotspots as it is very large and spread over three floors. As you move around the building you will need to login to different hotspots. You should also keep in mind that after one hour of inactivity the WiFi will automatically log you out.
Travel Information
Please note that the British Council will reimburse reasonable transport costs for all UK participants, on provision of a completed expenses claim form and receipts. Unfortunately due to European Commission travel regulations we are not able to reimburse any first class travel.
We would appreciate it if you could purchase your tickets as soon as possible in order to keep the travel costs to a minimum. When purchasing train tickets, please also purchase the £2.00 train insurance option, in case for any reason you are unable to travel. This will ensure that you will be able to reclaim the cost of your tickets, as we would not be able to refund your travel costs at the British Council if you are unable to attend.
If your journey is likely to be in excess of £200.00 please contact Debbie Candy before you purchase your ticket.
Getting to the NCTL
We expect all delegates to make their own arrangements for arrival at the conference venue.
Please follow this link for information on how to get to the NCTL. If you wish to take a taxi from the station to the venue, please share it with at least two other people. There is a google document where you can communicate with other delegates about arrival/departure times to and from Nottingham station and lift sharing arrangements. Please share your details and liaise with your colleagues to travel together. If you are travelling to and from East Midlands airport please use this link to make your taxi travel arrangements from the airport.
We will send you the programme two weeks prior to the event.
If you have any queries about the joining instructions, please email Debbie Candy or telephone
