Our Own "around the world in 80 days"

  • After several months working on this interesting story, it is your time to decide how and where you would travel if you also wanted to "travel around the world in 80 days".

    This is your task:

    • international team work
    • Each international team will be given 20000 euros to spend. 
    • Together you must decide what countries you want to visit, travelling around the world.You should visit 4 countries.
    • you will have to provide  detailed information about means of transport and acommodation
    • you will have to use at least two different means of transport (plane, coach, ship, train, taxi, underground, elephant, camel,horse, ...) 
    • Remember you have 20000 euros to spend and just  80 days to travel the world
    • tickets and acommodation for 1 person
    • starting point: London
    • Departure date: 1st September 2019.
    • Return date: 19th November 2019.
    • use a collaborative timeline to keep all your information. You can use visme or any other one you know or like. But please remember it must be collaborative as you will be working in international teams. Don't forget to invite your teachers as collaborators as well.
    • Once you are ready to show your timeline to the other teams, tell your teachers. Don't show it to them until you have completed it. Remember it is a competition.
    • When every team uploads and shares their suggestion, you will be able to choose the one you like best. There will be a prize for the winners!!!!

    • Communication.- to talk to your team partners you can use the forum and  chat on this twinspace or any other one you might find useful. Don't forget to tell your teachers if you are using a private means of communication like whatsapp or facebook or ...

    • decide what countries you want to visit and  split the money so that each member of the team can concentrate on one of the places to visit.
