    Spain is full of places to discover, walk and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of Nature. This picture was taken in a region next to Asturias, about two hours drive from Laviana. I love it because it is quiet and extremely beautiful. Trees show there is no pollution in the air, can you see how?

    Parque Natural de Redes

    The Parque Natural de Redes was declared a Natural Park in 1996, and recognized by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve in 2001, the Park occupies the central eastern part of the Principality of Asturias. It has a lot of landscapes, animals and plants. It is considérate one of the most beautiful places in Asturias. We love it because we think it is so unique and special.

    Finisterre

    It is located in the north of Spain in La Coruña, Galicia.
    It is a town and it is famous because there is a cliff, known as the end of the world.
    A lot of people visit this cliff along the year because it was really beautiful and the landscape is amazing. In the cliff there is a lighthouse that is also incredible.
    In Finisterre there are a castle, some churchs and a cementery very famous too
    El Camino de Santigo arrives to this city.
    I recommended you to visit it because it is very interesting and there are a lot of lovely things.

    Peace and serenity

    If you want to relax and lose yourself in a quiet and cozy environment you have to visit Vejer de La Frontera. There are many who say that it is the most beautiful "white town" in Andalucia, In the south of Spain.

    The only thing you have to do when you get there is to leave your suitcases and go for a walk, get between the white houses and their narrow alleys and be impressed by their magnificent views.

    I like Barcelona, because is a beautiful city in Cataluña.
    In Barcelona there are lots of castles, palaces, sculptures, squares, beaches and other incredible things.

    It is the second city with more population in Spain, and many people went to there on holidays.
    I´ve visited it in Christmas and I would recomended it to all of you

    San Lorenzo beach

    This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Asturias, it has a long of 1550 meters, isn´t a very long beach but in summer there are many people enjoying the sun and Sea Cantabrico.
    This beach has 16 stairs that you can access, the first stair is called "La Cantabrica" and the last one is called "El Tostaderu".
    Parallel to the beach is the walk of the Wall of San Lorenzo, It is very busy especially in summer but in the other seasons there are also people walking through it

    Sevilla(Andrea Miguez Fernandez)

    Seville is the capital of the community of Andalucia.Its Historic Center is the largest in Spain and one of the largest in Europe.I choose this this city because I love a very famous neighborhood called "El Barrio de Triana".Seville is a very nice city to visit in summer as it is very hot and has beautiful beaches.I Also like a dance called Sevillanas these are dances and songs typical of the pilgrimages, which are celebrated in the famous fairs of April.It Is A spring festival that takes place annually in which the public gathers in a large enclosure called real of the Fair, with streets with ephemeral huts, decorated with lanterns, by which riders and horse-carriages circulate and by which they pass daily around 5 00.000 Visitors. It Is celebrated one or two weeks after Easter and coincides with the Bulls in the Plaza de la Maestranza.

    El Meruxal

    This village in the mountains of Laviana,Asturias, it's the village of my father and my family. It's very beautiful and it has an amazing landscape. Now, it has a population of 30 people. But in the 60's, it had about 200 people. I love El Meruxal!

    the camp nou is a stadium situated in Barcelona, Catalonia. Is the place where plays the football club Barcelona, one of the bests teams in Spain .
    This stadium is enormous the capacity of this stadium is around ninety thousands people to watch the of this team.
    for me it is a good place to visit in spain I recomend you do that.

    El Condao

    This is the village of Condao, this is the village of my grandparents and is located about 5 km from our village Pola de Laviana. It has a population of about 500 inhabitants and is located on the banks of the river Nalon

    I chose a city called Toledo, it´s in the centre of Spain, in a community called Castilla la Mancha. It has a old part and it´s so beautiful. It has many historical and interesting things to see. For example: the walls, the old castles.
    Also there is a new part in the town, a new part with shops, restaurants and hotels. In Toledo the weather is so hot.

    Puerta del Sol

    This is one of the most popular squares in Spain. It is located in Madrid. It is very popular because there is a spanish tradiction to celebrate new year's eve in this square.
    There there is the point 0 of Spanish roads.
    Anybody who goes to Madrid should visit this square!

    Ancient Olympia (by Mike Vretos)

    Ancient Olympia is a small town in Elis on the Peloponnese peninsula in Greece, famous for the nearby archaeological site of the same name, which was a major Panhellenic religious sanctuary of ancient Greece, where the ancient Olympic Games were held. The site was primarily dedicated to Zeus and drew visitors from all over the Greek world as one of a group of such "Panhellenic" centres which helped to build the identity of the ancient Greeks as a nation. This picture was taken at an educational trip with my school. I like it very much because it's a great feeling when you stand where people were standing thousands years ago!

    Meteora

    The Meteora is a rock formation in central Greece hosting one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries, second in importance only to Mount Athos. The sixmonasteries are built on immense natural pillars and hill-like rounded boulders that dominate the local area. It is located near the town of Kalambaka at the northwestern edge of the Plain of Thessaly near the Pineios river and Pindus Mountains.This picture was taken when I was 6 years old.I love this place because I love mountains.

    Cesspool of Melissani in the Greek island of Kefalonia by Lefteris Liakopoulos

    Melissani's leafy cave is 2 km northwest of Sami in Kefalonia. The natural entrance of the cave is vertical in size 40 x 50 m and was created by the fall of a part of the roof. Artificial entry with stairs and a long underground corridor allows you to visit the cave. The lake is located 20 m below the surface of the soil and its depth is from 10 m to 30 m. Stalks with strange shapes adorn the largest part of the cave.

    Acropolis (Marisa Markou)

    The Acropolis of Athens is located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens and contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historic significance, the most famous being the Parthenon. During ancient times it was known also more properly as Cecropia, after the legendary serpent-man, Cecrops, the first Athenian king.

    The Sounion Temple (Katerina Nika)

    The earliest literary reference to Sounion is in Homer's Odyssey (III. 278–285). The story recounts that as the various Greek commanders sailed back from Troy, the helmsman of the ship of King Menelaus of Sparta died at his post while rounding "Holy Sounion, Cape of Athens.

    Navagio beach, is on the coast of Zakynthos.

    People say that back, in 2 October 1980, the ship was carrying cigarettes, wine and women. The ship, now, is abonded and half-buried rested in the limestone gravel and is also known as "Shipwreck". I love the blue clear water Navagio has and the big ship!

    The Acropolis Museum is one of the most popular museums of Greece, maybe of the world. It includes a variety of ancient Greek exhibits, that portray the ancient Greek civilization.

    It is one of the most beautiful greek islands which tourists from all over the world visit to enjoy the unique sunset .There is also passive volcano ,a famous tourist attraction too.

    Tanes (Daniel Fernández)

    Tanes is a parish of the Council of Case, in the Principality of Asturias. It Has a population of 215 inhabitants (INE 2006) distributed in 213 houses and 23.1 km². It Is located 7 km from the city council capital, Case Field. Your Parish Church is dedicated to Santa Maria la Real. It Is A Basilica built between the 16TH and 17TH centuries with certain extensions of the XVIII CENTURY. Tanes gives its name to the reservoir from which water is supplied almost the entire urban centre of Asturias. This Reservoir flooded the town's slums as well as Las Vegas from which most of the production and economic viability of this enclave depended. The beauty of the place, located in the Natural Park of Redes, recognised as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, has favored the emergence of an incipient tourist activity that is slowly trying to start.

    Murtos Beach (florentia mourelatou)

    Myrtos beach or simply Myrto is a beach in Kefalonia. It is considered to be the most famous beach of the island and one of its main attractions since it has accumulated a lot in recent years. It is located in the northern part of the island, in the Municipality of Pilares, 30 kilometers north of Argostoli. The nearest village is Divarata, 2.5 km south of the beach. It has white pebbles and blue waters due to the region's currents. The beach is surrounded by cliffs and is about 800 meters long. At its end there is a small cave
     Myrtos is organized beach with canteen, umbrellas, sun loungers and lifeguard. The beach is dangerous, because as a bay, during bad weather there are big waves, and many swimmers have died. Every August the Cultural Summer, a music festival of the Pilares Municipality, is organized on the beach.

    Salinas Beach

    It is located in Salinas (Castrillón), one of the most desired areas of the entire Asturian territory. It has a length of 2100m. The beach is known for its strong waves, especially for the practice of sports such as surfing, windsurfing or kite surfing. On this beach, different surf-related events take place such as VANS Salinas Longboard Fest.

    Gijón (Rebeca Suárez)

    Gijón is a city on the coast of Asturias.
    It has very nice beaches and is a very tourist place, in summer many people come to enjoy its nature, its beaches and its gastronomy.
    He also has a great football team, the Real Sporting de Gijón, my favorite team.
    For all that Gijón is one of my favorite places.
    I love Gijón.

    Alhambra

    The Alhambra is a Andalusian palatine city located in Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It consists of a set of palaces, gardens and fortress that housed a real citadel within the city of Granada, which served as accommodation for the monarch and the Court of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada. Its true appeal, as in other Muslim works of the time, not only lies in the interiors, whose décor is among the summits of Andalusian art, but also in its location and adaptation, generating a new landscape but fully integrated with the Pre-existing nature

    Playa de las Catedrales

    La Playa de las Catedrales is located on the coast of the province of Lugo (Galicia). It is called this way by the set of cliffs, some with more than 32 meters of height, that sculpted by the wind and the sea, form some spectacular arches and vaults leaving a wonderful landscape in which it is considered like one of the most spectacular beaches of the World.

    CADAQUÉS( Rocío valdés)

    Is a town in the Alt Empordà comarca, in the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. It is on a bay in the middle of the Cap de Creus peninsula, near Cap de Creus cape, on the Costa Brava of the Mediterranean.Cadaqués has a special place in art history. The interesting submarine life of this sleepy fishing village was studied for several years by phycologist Françoise Ardré, long before Cadaqués was discovered and transformed into a tourism destination. The village of Cadaqués has its own variant or dialect of the Catalan language. It belongs to the province of Girona. In it he had his summer residence the famous surrealist painter Salvador Dalí. They also visited the locality artists of the stature of Federico García Lorca or Pablo Picasso.

    Benidorm it is a busy place all year. A lot of people go there to have a good holidays. There are a big beach and a lot of big buildings. It is situated in Alicante, on the shores of Mediterranean sea. It is the tourist capital of Alicante. It has a warm climate. Normally, the pople how go there are in the middle ages. I would like go to Benidorm.

    SAN SEBASTIAN( CRSITINA LOPEZ)

    The city is the capital of the province of Guipúzcoa, in the autonomous community of the Basque Country. San Sebastián sits on the shores of the Cantabrian Sea, having several beaches (the most famous being La Concha, in the homonymous Bay) and a small port in the shelter of the Mount Urgull. It also has other mountains, both coastal promontories as inland, being its highest peak, Urdaburu (599 m S. N. M.), in a homonymous exclave, although the summit does not belong to the municipal term, giving the highest altitude of the municipality of about 585 meters in the face South of the same mountain, near the top. 2 Although the relief is rugged there are some flat areas of a certain amplitude in the valleys, plains where it concentrates much of the urban nucleus

    It is located in the north of Spain , in Cantabria.Next to Santillana del Mar there is a very impotant cave called the cave of Altamira.It is a very beautiful village and I love visit it because is a historic town and the pavement and the houses are made of stone.

    Valencia de don juan

    Valencia de don juan It is a wonderful pool located in Leon. In the summers I always go a lot since I have a house nearby. It has several swimming pools including an Olympic pool, a wave pool, toboggans and also a very large one for the little ones as it barely covers. Also inside the enclosure there are picnic tables for Eat and a mini bar to buy ice cream or the drink you want.

    Portonovo

    Portonovo is a fishing village and tourist center within the municipality of Sanxenxo. It belongs to the parish of Adina. Situated in the Ria de Pontevedra, its climate is cold and rainy in winter and warm and sunny in summer. Tourism is the main economic engine of the town, and the temporary population in the summer months increases considerably. Three beaches are found along the coast for the town: Portonovo Beach (also known as Baltar Beach), Caneliñas and Canelas.
    Portonovo also thrives economically on the nightlife in the summer and holiday periods. The village has many local pubs, cafés and nightclubs.

    It´s a zoo situated in Cantabria, and in this place there is a lot of species differents.The park provides food for the animals and the rest of the activities are guided by the instinct of the different species.
    I very like this site because, in my opinion the animals that have are very funny and beautiful and It´s the perfect place to relax with your family or your friends.

    Casa Milá by Elba López

    The Casa Milà, popularly called La Pedrera, is a modernist building designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí, built between 1906 and 1910 in the Ensanche district of Barcelona, ​​at number 92 Paseo de Gracia.
    La Pedrera is an innovative work in the functional, constructive and ornamental aspect and singular in its current uses: a museum, the headquarters of the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation, it is still a residence of houses, cultural activities are programmed and it has a coffee and stores in the shallows.

    Playa de la Espasa- Sofía Díaz

    It’s one of the most famous beaches of Caravia so it is easy to find, mostly because the national road N-632 was built right to its side.
    It has a huge parking with a picnic area, a few bars & restaurants and a children playground.
    It’s an extensive beach of almost 1 200 meters wide, accessible for people with limited mobility and quite popular during summer months.
    It’s a sandy beach, with lots of amenities but also really crowded in high season. You can reach it by car or by foot from the nearby villages, there are a lot of indicators along the way and it’s impossible to miss!
    Divided by the river Espasa, it is considered the border between the municipalities of Caravia and Colunga.
    It has lifeguard and lots of amenities which makes it perfect for families with children.

    La Coruña-Diego Colunga

    La Coruña is one of the biggest cities of Spain. It has got a population of 244.009 people. Is a good place to visit because has some beautiful places to visit like: the Riazor stadium where plays the Real Club Deportivo de la Coruña, the tower of Hércules is a tower that is 58 metres high and this offers beautiful views to the sea. To the end I say my personal opinion about this landmark: Is a very beautifull city and when I was there I liked things like; the people, the sea.etc

    Cudillero.

    I chose the town of Cudillero, located in Asturias, Spain. In that place you can take a walk around the city, observe the fishermen's houses where small dehydrated fish float in the air, the shops, the lighthouse, the harbor, an appetizer or seafood ... And also a walk by the council. It allows us to see unique landscapes such as the beach of Silencio, Gueirúa, Concha de Artedo, San Pedro de la Ribera and the views of Cabo Vidio, one of the great cliffs of the Asturian coast. -Sofía Amaya.
