Evaluation results and impact

  • Here are the results from the evaluation made by our students and the impact this project had on them:

    Our students agree that they really liked participating in the project. This way of working and collaborating with other students from other countries turned up being very exciting and motivating for all of them and also the opportunity of using the new technologies, which is something they love doing.

     

    All our students agree that this projects and other similar to this one can be useful for them and for the rest of the school community and society to keep working on the equality of men and women. Also, the final activity about having some women of different ages as guests at our schools has been the most interesting to see in first person the really important role of women in the last decades and how important is to contribute to keep it happening.

     

    Most students liked the project and found it very interesting and useful because of the reasons we have just mentioned above, while others think it is ok and they did not like it very much due to the fact that it took a while to have the project finished and it would have been better to finish last year. Some students said that not all the activities were attractive or interesting for them.

    These opinions were very useful for the teachers at the time to start to work on another project and take into account much more the opinion of our students when planning all the activities before starting a new project.

    It is absolutely clear, by our students thoughts, that the most interesting and attractive activity for our students was the one to make the logo. This is due to the fact of the use of the new technologies in a more direct way and also because they had the opportunity to interact with their member partners on the Forum.

    The teacher will have this in mind for other projects in a near future.

    The teachers consider this question in the evaluation form was one of the most useful ones, as it gave us very valuable information of what they would really add and create for their own project. So, as an improvement for future projects, the teachers will include an initial or intermediate evaluation with this question, so we can have the time to put as many proposals as possible into practice.

    These ideas are also very valuable to take into account and try to avoid when we work in another project with these same students, as they are activities they did not like much.

    A vast majority of students agree that they would like to take part in another eTwinning project, which means they really enjoyed their first experience in it and we hope we can work all together in another one in the future.

     

    And here are the results from the evaluation made by our teachers and the impact the project had on us:

    All the teachers are happy about having participated in the project and from we have talked among us, it has been a wonderful experience because we have learnt a lot from the women who came to our schools and from what our students' contributions to the project.

    All the teachers agree that reality has overcome the expectations we had at the beginning of the project in many senses: all the objectives have been achieved by students and teachers, all the contents have been worked in the different subjects and the most important thing: we have learnt very important values related to the importance of the role of women in our society.

    All the teachers agree that we should have tried out other tools to make the collaborative video, and maybe we might have asked our students if they knew any one or they wanted to make another collaborative activity instead of the video. This is something we will take into account for other future projects. On the other hand, the tool used in the word cloud activity was absolutely appropriate and we all loved it, so we will keep using it in other projects when necessary.

    The teachers think this project has been very interesting and useful, as a whole, but also think that  some problems have arisen thinking of other members' issues: for example, our partners from Italy and Turkey could not continue with the project in the middle or almost beginning of it, the videos of questions by Greece and UK were lost at the end of the project for different reasons...

     

    All the teachers agree that one of the most beneficial activities in our project has been the one where students of different ages have taken part in the project altogether, and also the women from the school of adults were so nice with us when dealing with the answering of questions, because we could see the real interaction and communication among members of different ages and using the English language as a foreign language to talk. It was absolutely fantastic!

    All the teachers think that one of the things we should have added to the project is making a videoconference, but we will take it into account in future projects.

    We absolutely agree on participating in more projects, above all the most active members, because we have had a great time and already know how to work and make the most of it when we are taking part in the same project. We love eTwinning and we will keep participating in more projects in the near future!
