    Welcome to Lithuania!

    Objectives:

    Students are going to learn about Lithuania.

    Students are going to play a board game.

    Success Criteria:

    -I know more than10 facts about Lithuania( geography, a capital, a flag, a harbour, Lithuanian amber, currency, traditional costumes and  dances, a popular sport, a popular vegetable, a tradition food,  some Lithuanian words,etc.)

    -I enjoy learning English playing a board game.

    Introduction:

    The teachers introduce themselves briefly and present the video about their country to the students.

    Activities/ Methods:

    -The teachers present Lithuania showing a PowerPoint presentation made by their Lithuanian students.

    -The teachers show a PowerPoint to explain the game`s rules.

    -The teachers present the board game ” Welcome to Lithuania” made by Lithuanian students,  and Spanish students take part in it.

    Evaluation:

    The students, working in groups of two or three, have to roll a dice, move a figure according to the number on the dice and follow the instructions (Back-3/Forward-2/Answer the questions/Look and say/Correct the sentence according to the PowerPoint presentation)

    A team which reaches the finish card the  first, wins the game.
