6o EPA.L Irakliou dissemination

  • After each mobility, students wrote an account of their travel and experiences from their perspective. They also made a short film with pictures and photographs from the first mobility which was shown during dissemination.

Of course material from the activities was upload to the eTwinning and website platforms of the project.

Each of the mobility in Spain and Poland along with their results were presented at least three times to the school community (one for each class of the school) with parents and guardians invited to attend (a total of 400-500 persons for each of the two mobilities). For the last virtual mobility, due to COVID-19 restrictions presentation in person was done individually  in each of the 6 sections of our Junior class (120 persons total) and an online presentation for the whole school community is planned until the end of May.

Whiteboards with photographs and artifacts of the projects for each of the four mobilities  are posted in a section of our school office dedicated exclusively to ERASMUS+ projects. They are accessible and visible not only to students but to every member of the public coming to our school, thus producing further disseminating effects.

Distinct photo albums for each mobility were made on the schools social media account and were widely reposted by students and teachers adding further visibility to the project.

The project was also presented in meetings organized by the European Programmes department of the Regional Directorate of Education of Crete and by the School Activities Office of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Iraklion.

For the hosting mobility, the whole school participated in the March for Road Safety activity, which also received wide press from local news sites. The campaign for Road Safety is an ongoing project at our school and combining it with the ERASMUS+ project here really gave it the momentum it needed to stay with our students.
