İstanbul Büyükşehir Şehit Şerife Bacı Çok Programlı Anadolu Lisesi

"Sehit Serife Baci" is a vocational high school located in Istanbul in Turkey. The headmaster of this school is Kadir Pakirdas. There are 70 teachers and 1300 pupils at Sehit Serife Baci school, which consists of three main departments:

- Public relations
- Child development
- Health care

The pupils attending this school are of age 14-18 and the main subjects taught here are Maths, Turkish grammar and literature, History, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Philosophy, English, Music and Art, P.E. and vocational subjects.

Batuhan Rodbari, tell a bit about your family and your free time?

I have a crowded family: my dad, my mum, and my four siblings. My dad is a business man and my mother is a housewife and my brother and sisters are students except the smallest one. My hobbies are playing basketball, going to the cine-ma, swimming, hanging out with my friends and having chit chats with them.

What does this Project mean to you?

This project ‘Dreamers Beyond Borders‘ means: your thoughts beyond your country or your area.
And talking about the projects to other people having different nationalities.

What are your future plans?
I want to be a lawyer after I graduate the university.

Hūseyin Mert Arslankaya, tell a bit about your school life, what subjects do you learn?

I am an Anatolian Class student, me and my clas-smates have the best points of the school.I learn Science subjects like chemistry, biology and physics.
School has various trips such as to see our histori-cal places, natural places as well as fun fair trips.

What do you think of this Project? What are three words that come up to your mind when you hear ‘Dreamers Beyond Borders‘ ?

Firsf of all this project is very creative and fun.
And this is an honor for my country and my school to be able to participate in this project. If I had to explain this with three words, they would be culture, language and friendship.

What do you want to do when you finish school?

I want to study at ‘İstanbul Boğaziçi Universi-ty‘ which is very famous. This school is going to help my future a lot. I want to be an architect.
In the future I want to do nice architectural places.
