PROJECT EVALUATION

Our project ‘Don’t Be Shy, Give It A Try’ had a deep impact in our school and  was more than a project for us. Thanks to the  project we took the chance to discover our students’ special skills and gave them the opportunity to show their performance in front of people. The  participant students saw that using the language is more powerful than learning the theories. Learning English is generally thought to be boring by the students,but when they joined the contest, they saw  it was fun to do something with it. After performing in the contest, they felt relaxed and confident in class and could come up against their fear of making mistakes and they found out that listening songs in english is very useful to learn new words and some usages. The project created an enthusiastic atmosphere around the school, not only the participants but also other students felt excited. Moreover, it gave a great opportunity to our students,especially shy ones, and changed their negative opinions about learning English.During the process we also interacted with music teacher and we all had fun and learned,and we did it by only singing. We can clearly see that Don’t Be Shy, Give It A Try has reached its goal in my school.  Thanks a lot for his experience.
