Secondary School Nr. 3 Zimnicea is a partner in the Erasmus + program in the KA2 action entitled "Little steps make a big difference. Together, we care for our home ", 2018-1-PL01-KA229-051240_5.
Under the program, there are 6 partner schools from the following countries: Poland (coordinator), Romania, Greece, Spain, Slovakia, Turkey, which cooperate and have common activities on ecological, social and economic themes. Students from partner countries are the target of the project activities coordinated by their teachers.
The activities are developed in accordance with the requirements of the International Eco-School Program, which is held in each partner school and aims to obtain the Green Flag. They run monthly in Eco-Clubs, each school choosing one of the 12 major themes of the program. Secondary School Nr. 3 Zimnicea selected the theme "Health / Healthy Lifestyle".
On December 16-21, 2018, the first international meeting was held at the coordinating school Szkola Podstawowa im. Jana Pawla II w Jaworzni.
Secondary School Nr. 3 Zimnicea was represented by 3 teachers, members of the project team.
The meeting was held over 4 days, including in-service training, classroom exchanges, visits to educational institutions and educational centers as well as cultural centers.
During the meeting, were established the stages of the Erasmus + program,” Little steps make a big difference. Together, we care for our home ", the theme and the following mobility in our partner schools.
The opening of the meeting took place in a festive setting, in the presence of the school leadership, the mayor of the locality, representatives of the local community, teachers, pupils, parents, students supporting an artistic program.
In the workshops , teachers have conducted various experiments on water and soil quality at the Podzamcze Regional Science and Technology Center, held discussions about soil at the Geology Club, exchanges of experience in science lessons with 6th grade pupils , visit to the "Kindergarten in the Forest".
The program also included cultural activities: an artistic program dedicated to winter feasts supported by the students of the host school, a visit to the Kielce Dialogue Museum, a visit to the cathedral and the Polish Art Museum.XIX from Krakow .
Each school has presented its environmental activities so far and the experience of such projects.
The next meeting is planned in January 2019 in Slovakia, at this our school will participate with 4 pupils, accompanied by two teachers.
