'Bricfeasta Mór Blasta' and 'Big Healthy Breakfast' is a roaring success in the CBS!
What a morning for all at the CBS in Armagh with over 600!!!!!! big healthy breakfasts served to our very happy and healthy pupils. Thanks to the very hard work of our P7 and R7 pupils, supported by the Erasmus+ team in school, we planned, prepped, served and cleared up after 621 pupils on Friday morning. And to top it all off, we enjoyed a 1mile walk in school to help burn off some of the natural healthy energy from our breakfasts!
The buzz and excitement around the school was amazing and everyone can;t wait to make this a termly event.
Here are just some of the Facebook posts shared to celebrate the event.
1. Rang7 visited the Home Economics lab of our local secondary school to plan the menu for the breakfast!
2. Then we prepped each and every piece of fruit in a healthy and safe manner the day prior to the event.
3. Next came the 'Big Healthy Breakfast-Bricfeasta Mór Blasta' and what a morning it was!
4. Having cleaned up and made sure everyone was fed, we escorted our younger pupils on a walk to help burn off the excess energy!
5. And finally, to finish off the event, the P7s and R7s completed an Art Project back in class drawing still portraits of the fruit bowl inspired by the work of Pablo Picasso and Paul Cezanne!
