As our project is coming to an end I wish to thank you all for your incredible commitment during this beautiful journey through the world of POETRY . As you said it was a demanding project with  many tasks but we managed to  complete it on time , with  I think ,creativity , imagination and originality .I was so impressed by all the different presentations that were regularly uploaded on our twinspace !! I am also really  proud of all the students who participated in this project because THEY have written so many beautiful poems of so many types ; acrostic, diamond , pyramid , haikus , shape poems .....all what is uploaded on our pages is their work and not (as I can sometimes see in some projects) teachers’ texts .Writing biographies was an important moment for my students as well . I remember them being extremely touched when learning that some of these poets had been persecuted, jailed or tortured.....    of course French students also loved postcrossing  which was like opening Xmas presents all year round!! Communicating on the forum with faraway friends was also fun! Voting on tricider for the logos or for the title of our story was a totally new exciting experience for them  as well as  evaluating our project on mentimeter !

Yunbinn, you can’t imagine how we appreciated the Poems on Notre Dame ! THANKS again for this beautiful attention and for your work to make our collaborative book REAL!

Dear Mariana, I am a great fan of you, you are always so discreet but so professional and efficient !!Your students’ texts always full of emotion!

Zaina , I daresay I have a special feeling for Morocco (probably for personal reasons) and now that I know you   I couldn’t imagine working on  another project without you and your hardworking students.

Dear Lourdes, I still can’t believe that this is your first project on etwinning : you are an EXPERT on webtools !!! Your students are amazing! I feel as if I knew them personally..

Athanazia, what can I say?? You are my mentor!!! In September I was unable to embed anything, now thanks to your help and advice I think I could even embed my son! You are the best ICT teacher in the world!!! How lucky your students are! And fortunately Adamadia was also here for the literary part of our project too. Many thanks to her!

Tereza and Rachelle didn’t cross the finishing line with us but I wish to thank them for their contribution...

DEAR Soley , you insisted to finish this poetry book in spite of all you have to deal with  at home . My thoughts, my heart are with you....

Dear partners, I do hope we’ll be able to continue this wonderful collaboration with a new project next year!!

The Creative Writing around the World project we worked on throughout a whole school year (2018-2019) is a wonderful example of how people from different parts of the world can cooperate and work together towards the same purpose, to achieve a product in which the basic idea is that of partnership.

It was a nice opportunity for all those involved, both teachers and students. As a teacher, I could benefit from the numerous ideas of my partners. I was amazed to see how committed and willing to learn and share new things with those participating in the project everybody was.

Also, my students found the idea of this project a very interesting one and always came up with lots of creative suggestions making the learning activity fun and motivational at the same time. It was an opportunity to make use of their good computer skills, and use the computer for educational purposes. Team work allowed them to exchange ideas, listen to the others’ points of view and choose the ones that worked better. They could also comment on and analyse their European and non-European colleagues’ ideas, compare them with their own, thus the learning environment becoming a process of communication, collaboration and discovery.

I have truly enjoyed being in this project although there were times when I found it extremely demanding. I  appreciate all students and teachers’ motivation, effort and good work. We also need to particularly thank our coordinators, Genevieve Mouthar and Soley Blixt. If it had not been for their commitment, we would probably not have completed this project, which would have been a pity.

    Best regards from Romania,

    Mariana Gaiu

    A wonderful journey!

Enjoyable, fruitful and amazing are all the projects we conducted together. Poetry projects, collaborative story writing, post cards exchange, poets biographies and contests of the best logo , cover story, title...etc all allowed students great chances to show their artistic talents and develop thier writing skills. Also, having different countries from different continents and cultures working on the same projects allowed students to appreciate differences, enjoy reading creative ideas and seeing things from other perspectives. It was a wonderful and beautiful journey that my students and I enjoyed a lot. Thank you all for your commitment, hardwork and collaboration.
    Best regards from Morocco
