Evaluation of the virtual visit to Italy

  • During the virtual visit, on the last day, the teachers and the guest pupils as well as the Italian pupils who participated in the visit's activities write their impressions of the visit on a padlet adding their own selfie or photo:

    Then they take evaluation surveys! We all want to check the efficiency of the tasks in this unusual virtual meeting and how we can better plan the following one to Greece! Students and Teachers have their own survey!

    In the Twinboard the pupils are asked to write their impressions from the various tasks.

    It was the first time we tried such a virtual visit! My son was in
    class 6 and prepared hard for the meeting as he had to learn new
    tools and the Zoom platform. I watched him every time and tried
    to help him as well as learn. The meeting was great! It was so
    much fun to watch so many people online and do so much work!
    We got to know Italy and Sicily a bit through these meetings!

    Due to the covid-19 limitations, our trip to Italy was really different.. It was a virtual trip . So we had to change our plan and prepare activities that can be done digitally. Although there was a lot of anxiety, it was an unforgettable experience for the students and the teachers also.

    The trip in Italy was a different experience for all the participants because it was the first virtual meeting. All the pupils made the project enthusiastically and learned a lot about Sicily. Italian teachers and pupils had made a good plan and the meeting finished successfully. It was an exciting "trip" in a difficult period for all of us.
