It's time to send Christmas cards

  • Pupils in Italy and Wales will explore how their partners celebrate Christmas in their country.

    What do we eat?

What do we do in school?

Are we the same or are we different pieces in the same jigsaw puzzle?

Here are our Google Slides that we completed to show how we celebrate Christmas in Italy and Wales...

Christmas dinner at Ysgol Hendrefelin school

Every year, the whole school gets together in the canteen and we all have a Christmas Dinner. There are the pupils, staff, the school Governors and we invite people from our Local Authority and also the vicar from the church. We have Christmas crackers too. It isa lovely time of year for us.

Christmas Carol service at Ysgol Hendrefelin

Every Christmas, the whole school walks to the local church of St Matthews and we have a service where we sing Christmas hymns and different pupils read out the Nativity Story. Our parents/carers/family can also come if they want to. It is a lovely start to Christmas..
