Our brainstorming activities

  • Here are the brainstorming activities that the partner teachers used in class to acquaint their students with the famous figures coming from their own country or region.  That was an activity carried out at the beginning of our project.

     

     

     

    1. 18th Elementary school of Kalamata, Greece

    These are our brainstorming trading cards. We used them in class for the students to guess these famous figures coming from our region Messenia and we also uploaded them on the project journal so that the rest of our partners could look up information about them and find out about their identity. One of our Turkish partners did quite a good job and found out about all of them!

     

    And this is our brainstorming video. After watching it, the students chose five of the seven famous people presented on it. These would be the five persons that we would present to our partners in detail.

    We looked for information about Italian famous people and we chose three famous figures for our project. 

    GÜLHANIM BAHADIR YAVUZYILMAZ - Fener Primary School of Zonguldak in Turkey

    One of our partners from Greece uploaded their famous figures and asked us to look up information about them and write their identities.We found and wrote about them.

    Then we looked up information about Italian famous figures,created different games about them and played them in the class.Also we we uploaded them into the project journal so that the other partners and their pupils could search about them and play them.

    Before starting the project, we decided which Turkish celebrities to introduce in the class with brainstorming. Then we searched the celebrities we selected. In the classroom, we asked questions using the technique of "Who am I?" We had a lot of fun and learned the lives of celebrities
