Our tasks and web tools.

  • 1.-Teacher will invite student to the TwinSpace. 

    2.-Students will complete the initial survey with google form and send their answers. 

    3.-Let's introduce each other. We can add presentations, videos, photos or whaterver you choose to present your class, your school and your city in a padlet. Then, on an interactive map ( mapmaker.nationalgeographic)  add your location . You can also add a video presentation if you want.

    4.-Let's form Nationality mixed groups. How? Teachers will give children different flags to be coloured:(from Spain, from Portugal, Greece and from Lithuania)  Each student will choose the flag he/she would like to colour. Then, in a padlet, the student will introduce himself/herself under the flag he/she has colour, in this way we will form 4 national mixed groups. 

    5.- Each group (Spanish flag, Portuguese flag, Lithuanian flag and Greek flag) will create  logos for our project. (Students can draw it or use any web tool to create them). They will upload the logos in a padlet. Then, we will vote for the best one through the web tool "tricider". 

    6.- Each mixed nationality group find monuments or places that belong to the cultural heritage from the different cities that participate in this project and they upload the photos (without author right) and upload them in the web tool called  "popplet".

    To coordinate the job of each mixed nationality group and to avoid repetitions, children write on the forum the monuments, parks or important places of  cultural interest that they have found of each city. 

    7.-We locate on an interactive map our cities and its monuments, parks, squares, interesnting places... which belong to its Cultural Heritage.

    We use the web tool called "genially".

    8.-Let's evaluate the process and play  through online games through "jigsawplanet and learningapps.org."  Kids do  puzzles of some important places or monuments of the different cities/countries that participate in this project. 

    They also have to match those monuments and their names  and write the name of the counties. Then, kids write their scores in the forum. 

    9.-Let's ask children their ideas about a tourist book. Through the web tool "answergarden" they will write what they would like to work in their tourist book. 

    10.-Let's create Christmas cards, write good wishes,  post and exchange them.

    11.-Let's create a video where pupils have to convince everybody to visit their cities. They must give reasons why their cities are a wonderful place to visit. They can be reporters or interview other pupils or adults. Let's be creative. You choose your favourite  video editor, or even create a  "Chroma" video. Upload then to an interactive map through the tool "thinglink"

    12.-Let's start our tourist book with the web tool "madmagz.  

    We write the main places that a tourist can visit. It must be a guide for a tourist. 

    Let's use photos without author right, or pictures drawn by the children. 

    13.-Online meeting: Let's have an online meeting to know each other and to play an evaluation game. 

    1. Teachers agree and arrange the date and time for the online meeting through the tool "doodle". 
    2.  During the online meeting, partners from one country show pictures of places or monuments that belong to their cultural herigate  and partners from other countries show the name of the places that have been shown. 

    Children show cards with messages that say: "very good, perfect, well done, great, fantastic", if the answer is correct... and "try again"  if the answer is no correct. 

    Every country get 2 points for each correct answer.

    14.-Let's give ideas about why it is important our cultural or natural heritage and ideas about how to preserve it and write them in a "stormboard".  Share all those ideas in the school, through a poster or  bookmakers for the tourist book.

    To prepare the poster or the bookmakers, you can use digital tools such as "canva.com" or just draw them. Share the result on a padlet.  

    15.-Evatuation though a kahoot game, through rubrics and  surveys (google form) for kids, for teachers and  for families. At the end of the travel guide there is Qr code. It is a self evaluation test, kids scan it and do the test, then they write their score on the forum. 

    16.- Let's disseminate the project: to the families, schoolmates, classroom blogs, school blogs or webs, radio, press, local television.... anywhere you can disseminate it.
